TriQuint Semiconductor Announces An RFIC Product Development Alliance With RF Integration
TriQuint Foundry Customers Now Have Access to a Proven Product Development Team for RF IC Product Development Services.
HILLSBORO, Ore. -- May 3, 1999
TriQuint Semiconductor and RF Integration Inc. today announced an agreement to utilize RF Integration’s RFIC Product Development Services in conjunction with TriQuint's GaAs IC Foundry to provide customers with turnkey RFIC Product Development capabilities. From project inception through pre-production RF Integration’s staff will be responsible for product development. In production TriQuint will provide wafer manufacturing, die packaging and IC testing services. TriQuint is developing a worldwide network of independent, authorized Design Centers to support its market-leading GaAs Foundry Services."RF Integration Inc. engineers have developed numerous RF IC products on Triquint processes and have an excellent track record with wireless RF IC product development,'' says Bruce Fournier, VP of TriQuint's Foundry Services Division. TriQuint offers a wide variety of Gallium Arsenide semiconductor technologies including E/D MesFET, pHEMT and HFET.
RF Integration Inc. offers turnkey RF product development services including both board level design and highly integrated, full custom IC designs on numerous GaAs and Silicon processes. Specific markets addressed by recent product developments include CDMA chipsets, GPS chipsets, Electronic Toll Collection system, high data-rate wireless systems, Bluetooth, and various cellular and PCS band power amplifiers.
